Prophet Nuh

Long ago, there lived a prophet named Nuh (Noah) who was sent by Allah to guide his people. Nuh was a righteous and patient man who lived among a community of people who had strayed from the path of righteousness. They worshiped idols, committed injustices, and engaged in immoral behaviour.

Despite facing ridicule and rejection from his people, Nuh continued to preach the message of monotheism, calling his community to worship only one God and to repent for their sins. He warned them of the consequences of their actions and urged them to turn back to Allah before it was too late.

For many years, Nuh patiently conveyed the message of Allah to his people, but only a few believed in him. The majority mocked him and refused to heed his warnings.

As the disobedience of his people persisted, Nuh prayed to Allah for guidance and assistance. In response, Allah revealed to Nuh that He would send a great flood to cleanse the Earth of the wicked and disobedient, while saving Nuh and those who believed in him.

Following Allah's command, Nuh began constructing a massive ark (a large boat) under divine guidance. He worked tirelessly on the ark, gathering supplies and preparing for the impending flood. As the ark took shape, Nuh continued to call his people to repentance, inviting them to join him on the ark and save themselves from destruction.

Eventually, the floodwaters came as promised by Allah, and they engulfed the land, covering everything except for the ark. Nuh, along with the believers and pairs of animals, was safely aboard the ark as it floated upon the waters.

The flood lasted for a considerable time, during which Nuh and those with him remained inside the ark, protected and sustained by Allah's mercy. When the floodwaters receded and the Earth was once again dry, the ark came to rest on Mount Judi.

Nuh and his followers disembarked from the ark, and they were grateful to Allah for their survival. Nuh's people who had rejected him were drowned in the flood as a punishment for their disobedience.

After the flood, Nuh's community began anew, and he continued to guide them as a prophet of Allah. His story serves as a reminder of the importance of faith, patience, and obedience to Allah's commands.
