Prophet Al-Yasa

In Islam, Prophet Al-Yasa (Elisha) is mentioned briefly in the Quran, primarily in Surah Sad (Chapter 38), verse 48.

Prophet Al-Yasa was sent by Allah to guide the Israelites and call them to the worship of the One true God. He was known for his righteousness, wisdom, and miracles.

One of the most famous miracles associated with Prophet Al-Yasa is the healing of the leper. A righteous man approached him seeking a cure for his leprosy. Al-Yasa instructed him to bathe in a specific river seven times, and miraculously, the man was cured of his disease.

Another notable miracle attributed to Prophet Al-Yasa is the multiplication of food. Once, a group of people came to him complaining of famine and hunger. With the help of Allah, Al-Yasa blessed a small amount of food, and it multiplied to feed the entire gathering.

Through his miracles and teachings, Prophet Al-Yasa reminded the people of the power and mercy of Allah. He urged them to turn away from idolatry and sinful practices and to worship Allah alone.

While Prophet Al-Yasa's story in the Quran is brief, it highlights his role as a messenger of Allah sent to guide humanity towards righteousness and monotheism.

The story of Prophet Al-Yasa serves as a reminder of the importance of faith, reliance on Allah, and the ability of His prophets to perform miracles as signs of their truthfulness.
