The Notorious Thief

February 28th, 2024

This passage talks about Shaitan, who is like a sneaky thief trying to steal the faith of Muslims. It compares him to a robber targeting valuable possessions, showing how he uses tricks like doubt and envy to weaken people's connection to their faith. The message is to stay strong in faith and seek protection from Allah against Shaitan's tricks.

"Where does a person steal, or where does a thief break in? Where there's something valuable, of course!

Even if a house is left wide open, why would a thief bother breaking in if there's nothing worth stealing? They go after places with gold, silver, and lots of cash.

Shaitan, infamous for his thieving ways, spots the treasure of Eman, the faith, in the hearts of believers. He sees the precious love believers hold for Allah Ta’ala.

In the world of jealousy and trickery, nobody matches Shaitan's skill at thievery. He's the ultimate robber, swindler, mugger, looter, and hijacker of Muslim hearts. He'll try every trick, scheme, and attack to snatch away this invaluable gift of faith. That's his mission.

So, when Shaitan whispers his schemes, don’t argue with him. Don’t bark back. His knowledge is vast. Instead, seek refuge in Allah Ta’ala and shield yourself from the mischief of this rejected dog, Shaitan.

This Shaitan, the rejected dog of Allah Ta’ala, doesn’t want believers, or anyone else for that matter, to come closer to Allah Ta’ala. He knows that if a person forms a connection with Allah Ta’ala and enjoys the sweetness of obeying Him, they'll never be drawn to anything sinful.

Since Shaitan doesn't want any of us to receive Allah Ta’ala’s mercy or enjoy His eternal blessings, he'll surely bark.

So, don’t waste your time and energy fighting this rejected dog. Turn to Allah Ta’ala, and He'll protect you.".

"If you are tempted by Satan, then seek refuge with Allah. Surely He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing."
